Steve has worked as a pastor, college instructor and church specialist for over thirty-two years. He has served with or spoken for numerous Christian organizations including Mercy Corp International, Peacemaker Ministries, Simpson University, The Orchard Foundation (C&MA), the OneAccord Not-For-Profit Practice, and others. Widely read, he is known as a thoughtful and compelling Biblical communicator and expositor, and an experienced leader in growing churches and effective stewardship.



As a specialist with churches, he has partnered with numerous congregations by serving them in the areas of conflict resolution, organizational development, biblical priorities for healthy churches, and most recently stewardship development and fundraising. His work has involved him with a variety of denominational settings and in a number of countries and ministries overseas.



Over the last three years he has spoken by invitation in over 50 churches, as well as numerous pastors’ retreats and denominational conferences on the subject of biblical stewardship and a lifestyle of generosity. In that time he has also conducted numerous church staff/board consultations on the subject of growing a culture of healthy stewardship and generosity. In that time he has created, along with another colleague, The Stewardship Coaching Initiative, designed for pastors and church leaders in his own denomination (C&MA) to help them gain confidence and skill in growing their churches in healthy practices of stewardship and generous giving.

Dr. Miller holds a Doctorate in Ministry from Biola University’s Talbot School of Theology; a Masters in Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; and a Bachelor of Arts from Simpson University. As a Principal with OneAccord, Steve helps to relieve the revenue pain of pastors, church boards and their congregations by equipping them through his facilitated planning and visioning retreats, personal teaching and coaching and through OneAccord’s Ministry of Professional Partnership™.
